What is Love?

Wrote about Love as I understand it in other people's blogs (1, 2):

Love is:

1. Attraction. We are attracted to the object of love.
2. Super-learning. We learn very well things when we like the teacher.
3. Has a lot in common with Interest. When we find something interesting - you can see that we love this thing.

We're not masters of our love. We can't choose who to fall in love with.

Why we fall in love with particular person? Because we can learn something important for us from him or her.

But we can think about anything with love. Or, as Klaus Joehle puts it (in "Living on Love - The Messenger" book) - we can send love to people, things, events. When we do a lot of sending love - we find that we like and even love people around a lot more.
